In addition to the traditional services you're used to seeing from Concorde, we've added some very innovative programs. Our Occupational Therapy staff has prepared extensive handwriting services, including Handwriting Without Tears. Our Speech Therapists have launched several computer-based models of language processing training, including Earobics and Fast ForWord, and a unique program to address socialization skills - Mind Your Manners.

But Concorde Kids is about more than these clinical services. We're continuing to integrate our services with those of other special needs providers, like the Center for Martial Arts, to facilitate carry-over of therapy to daily activities. We've linked with Concorde Health & Wellness to provide specialty fitness programming for transitional and ongoing services, and we're working to implement nutritional consultation and support with our Registered Dietitian. Concorde Kids Toys will soon be providing easy access to specialty toys, home therapy & medical supplies, and educational materials, both in the clinic and over the internet.

The team effort is an important concept in the provision of pediatric clinical services at Concorde Kids. The interaction of these disciplines is an excellent example of the benefits of several different approaches in dealing with a complex problem.
