Janet Murphy, OTR/L, President
Janet began Concorde Kids as part of Concorde Therapy Group in 1989. She graduated from Ohio State in
1977 and has over 30 years of pediatric experience. Janet has done extensive training in sensory integration therapy, Therapeutic
Listening and visual motor integration, and has focused her career on providing services to children with sensory processing
disorder. Janet's commitment to the use of high intensity activities to assist with improving sensory processing
has been a key influence in the development of the facilities and treatment approaches used at Concorde Kids.
Diane Thomas, MOT, OTR/L
Diane graduated from the University of Akron in 1977 with a B.S. in Biology and from the Medical College of
Ohio in Toledo in 1999 with a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has been with Concorde Kids since 1999. During her
8 years of practice, Diane has worked with children of all ages and many varied diagnoses, but specializes in the delivery of sensory
integration therapy. Diane was initially introduced to the field of Occupational Therapy via a child with the diagnosis of autism.
Through that relationship, Diane developed a passion for the field of occupational Therapy and for working with children on the autism
spectrum. Diane is also a certified provider of Therapeutic Listening.
